The Cala Touch KNX CH room controller for the KNX bus system measures various indoor climate parameters. Via the bus, the indoor sensor can receive external data and process it together with its own data to produce aggregate values (e.g. room averages). All measured values can be used to control switching outputs based on threshold values. The states can be linked using AND logic gates and OR logic gates.
Multifunction modules modify input data as required by performing calculations, checking a condition or converting the data point type. In addition, an integrated control variable comparator can compare and output values received via communication objects. Integrated PI controllers regulate heating/cooling (based on temperature). Cala Touch KNX CH features a touchscreen display on which various display and control pages are shown, depending on the individual configuration.
A page displaying the current measured values is available, as is a menu area for configuring the device and pages with touch controls for internal temperature control, lighting (manual switching or dimming), shading or windows (manual operation). The Cala Touch KNX CH is fitted with a frame from the same range of switches used in the building, allowing it to blend seamlessly into the interior design.
