Push-button gateway for FTS14 systems. Standby power consumption of just 1.3 watts. Modular unit for mounting on a DIN-EN 60715 TH35 mounting rail. 2.5 module units = 45 mm wide, 58 mm deep. To ensure better heat dissipation, a ventilation gap of ½ module must be maintained on the left-hand side; use the enclosed DS14 spacer for this purpose. Supply voltage 230 V. Connection to the Eltako RS485 bus.
Cross-wiring of the bus and power supply via a jumper. Operation in conjunction with FAM14 or FTS14KS. With up to 3 FTS14TG push-button gateways, the telegrams from up to 90 4-channel B4T55E bus push-buttons or FTS61BTK bus push-button couplers, FTS61BTKL and FTS61BTK/8, along with the conventional push-buttons connected to them, can be fed into the system. Data transmission and power supply take place simultaneously via just two wires.
This eliminates the need for numerous individual push-button control lines. An FTS14EM may then not be required. Up to 30 units of the B4T55E, FTS61BTK, FTS61BTKL and FTS61BTK/8 can be connected to an FTS14TG push-button gateway. The 2-wire bus supplies the connected devices with 29 V DC whilst simultaneously transmitting data. Please use only standard bus or telephone lines. The 2-wire bus is galvanically isolated from the Eltako RS485 bus.
The maximum permissible cable length is 200 m. The RLC network supplied with the FTS14TG must be connected to the terminals BP and BN on the furthest bus push-button or bus push-button coupler. When an FTS14FA is used in the Eltako RS485 bus, the push-button telegrams from the connected devices are also transmitted to the Eltako building radio system.
